{coyote den}

At Andrew's school they have what is known as the Coyote Den. It is a way for the school and teachers to acknowledge students. When you walk into the school, their is a wall that has several pictures of students in the Coyote Den. Each teacher picks a student to represent their class for the month. In April, Andrew was in the Coyote Den. It was exciting for him, because he has never been represented this way. Second grade has been a wonderful experience for him. We were lucky to get a teacher that always expected him to follow the rules, while being patient, kind, and encouraging. Andrew has matured a lot this year, and I am so very proud of him!

{day off}

Kevin worked a lot of hours during tax season. The day after tax day Kevin's boss told everyone not to come in, and to take the day off. We decided to take advantage of that and to spend it together as a family. The kids both skipped school, and we spent the entire day together. It was so much fun!!

One of the things we did was drive to Ogden and go to the children's museum there.
We got to be firemen...
practice our cow milking skills...
ride horses...
chew on blocks...
make an archway...
be part of an archway...
smile...
crawl through tree logs...
go on boat rides...
and much more!!!
It was fun to spend time together, not be rushed, and to act like a kid!

On the way back home we stopped in Salt Lake and had dinner at Litza's Pizzas. By the time we made it home it was about bedtime for the kids, and we were all pretty tired. We all loved it, and since then Carrie has been asking me "when are we going to have another family day, because family days are the best!" I am so thankful for a fun day with my wonderful family!

{crazy hair day}

One day at preschool, they had crazy hair day...

It definitely turned out to be a little crazy, and she was so happy with that hair!! She wore it all day, and slept in it that night. The next morning we took it out, and it made perfect ringlets... two awesome hairdo's in one! BONUS!! She was so excited!

She loved it so much she insisted on having this crazy hair again a few days later for her soccer game, and then have the curls for church on Sunday. She was one stylin girl at her soccer game, I wish I had been smart and taken a picture. She had the crazy hair, her blue jersey top with a sparkly black star skirt, her pink shin guards, and pink soccer shoes. It was awesome!

{it's hard to believe...}

that this little guy was ever worrisome under-weight.

At his last doctor's appointment he weighed in at about the 32nd percentile. I asked the doctor... "are you sure?!" Look at those cheeks!! I thought for sure he would be well over the 50th percentile.

Either way,

I'm not worried any more...
because he LOVES to eat!

{march rundown}

March is only a month away, and I already can't remember it very well.
Thanks to our handy dandy camera I do remember a few things...

This is something that I hope I will never ever forget...
Lots of snuggles with this guy!!
Carrie went on a preschool field trip. They went to Domino's to learn how to make pizza!
When she got home she came in and said, "Mom, I brought home lunch!!"
We ate some pizza together for lunch, and she was so proud of it. :)
This boy cracks me up!! He had made this leprechaun "mask" at school.
He had taped it to his head before leaving school, and had come out to the car like that.
At preschool the leprechauns sent the kids on a scavenger hunt...
at the end they found the leprechauns pot of gold!
This boy just keeps on growing!
This picture was taken right after finishing up a bottle. Look at that belly!!
He continues to be the happiest and most easy going baby ever born.
And this is his preferred way of sleeping... in stinkbug position.
