{it's like learning to ride a bike}

We took the training wheels off of Carrie's bike tonight. She was a little nervous to try riding her bike, but she did it! It didn't take very long at all before Kevin started taking his hands off the bike and she was riding in circles all by herself. She didn't want to get off, even though it was getting dark outside.

This girl is super tough! She didn't give up... so proud of her!

{preschool graduation}

My beautiful girl graduated from preschool yesterday. I have such mixed feelings about this! I don't remember feeling quite like this with Andrew. I know she is ready for Kindergarten, and she cannot wait to start. I am excited for her too, and she is such a smart and sweet girl. I know she will make friends easily, and learn the things that are taught. I am just not ready for her to be such a big girl. All of my kids are growing up way too fast for this mom! I really do wish I could slow it down. But since I can't, I just try to enjoy each every day with my babes.

I am so proud of my Carrie. She was once a very shy girl. She still can be... but she has changed a lot in the last couple of years. She has turned into a little social butterfly always wanting to have friends over and always wanting to be with other kids.

Here she is at her graduation...
These two girls have become the best of friends
..two little peas in a pod..
 Grandma and Grandpa helped entertain Matthew during the program :)
 ..these two are awesome, and each other's biggest fan.. and dad couldn't be more proud of this sweet sweet girl..
 ..Carrie sure loves her grandma and grandpa!..
..and of course, MISS PATERESA!..
She has been an amazing teacher. I am thankful that not only is she in our ward, but I get to serve with her in the primary presidency. She has become such a good friend, and we love her!
..she is just the cutest..

{Mother's Day}

I love my kids. I love each one for their unique personalities. They are busy, they are smart, they are funny, they are beautiful, and most importantly... they are mine. I am thankful to my Father in Heaven for these crazy, wild, and amazing spirits I have been given. They teach me patience. They teach me humility. They teach me forgiveness. They teach me unconditional love. I would do absolutely anything for them, and I am so thankful for the sweet relationship I have with each one of them. I am continually trying to make those relationships stronger, and for my kids to know most and foremost that they are important, I will love them no matter what, and that they are children of God.

{Momma Luau}

Carrie's preschool had a special day for all the moms. The moms were invited to come to school for a Hawaiian luau. It was so much fun to spend some time with my girl!!
