 ...I love this boy of mine! His current obsession is trains. Andrew was obsessed with trains at this age too. :)...
 ...after school projects. Andrew was excited to have "fun homework" for once... he has been writing and illustrating a book. And I just love Carrie's concentration face...
 ...these two kiddos have been doing extra chores around the house to earn money so they could buy minecraft!! They finally earned enough, and have been minecrafting the afternoon away...
 ...Carrie planned a family activity for us. First, we each had to draw a picture of ourselves...
 ...then we each drew a picture of our family...

{kindergarten graduation}

This school year has FLOWN by. Since Carrie is in kindergarten they get out a week early, and her graduation was today. It was so much fun to see her perform songs with the other students, and see her with her friends. She was lucky to have an amazing teacher, and we will miss her next year but Carrie is so so so excited to be going to first grade! Carrie had a great year. She learned a lot, gained more confidence, and made new friends. I would say that kindergarten was a success!!
 Here are a couple of clips from the graduation program:

{always singing}

Carrie seems to be always singing one song or another. She sings while she plays, draws, works... I think other than her cute laugh, hearing her sing is my favorite! She is such a fun girl. She came to me yesterday and asked if we could make a video of her singing. I had wanted to do this a few weeks ago, and she did for maybe 30 seconds and then was done. Since it was her idea and wanted to, of course I went with it and am so glad to catch a little of her personality so I can watch this for many years to come!! I cannot even put into words how much I love this little girl!

{going ons}

Sometimes I think the hardest part about being a mom is accepting the fact that things are constantly changing, and my kids grow and change each and every day.

Matthew seems to be learning new things every day, and is growing up in the blink of an eye. On this particular morning we had dropped the older kids off at school, and as we went into the kitchen Matthew saw some cookies that had been left on the table. Matthew said, "oooooh, cookie. I want cookie!!" How could I turn him down?! So that morning he had cookies and milk for breakfast, with a banana on the side. :)
This same day he decided to be adventurous and learned how to climb the ladder to get up into the "clubhouse", and go down the big slide (see videos below).  He also learned how to open the fridge that morning. He can get in and out of the sliding glass door alone too.... he certainly is keeping me on my toes!!

...my happy not-a-baby-anymore boy...
...so thankful that these 3 kids are mine...
...also thankful that they get along so well, and genuinely love and care about each other. siblings make the best of friends, and they are almost always together...
 ...as this boy has gotten older, he has become quite the snuggler. I will take them any time he will let me. :) This happened to be right after he had screamed for all the world to hear because I made him get a haircut...
 ...I love love LOVE my silly girl...
...she had wanted to take these so we could send them to Kevin while he was at work!...
 ...yup, more silliness. this time she roped me into it...
 ...oh my word, THIS BOY...
...I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love him. He is SMART, TALENTED, has a great SENSE OF HUMOR, and gives the best hugs. He has not always been big on hugs, but for whatever reason, lately he has been giving me hugs a lot. I'll take them ANY time. He amazes me, and I feel truly blessed to be his mom...
...this picture was taken while he was doing some "fun homework." He wrote and illustrated a book!...
...Kevin's mom spent a couple of weeks in the hospital. When I had told Carrie that gma Roni was sick and in the hospital she had wanted to draw something for her. She drew this, and I texted the picture to Kevin so he could show the picture to his mom that night after work. Later when we visited gma Roni Carrie had drawn another picture for her. I love my sweet girl, she has such a big heart...

...Love these two boys...

{tulips!}

Sometimes you just need to get out of the house. I feel like this a lot in the spring. So we decided to meet Kevin downtown in Salt Lake after work and walk around Temple Square and enjoy the pretty flowers. The weather was perfect, we were in no rush, and enjoyed being together. What a beautiful place, and lucky we live so close!
